Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I last blogged. Many things have changed in my life, I've been so busy it's been crazy, but never the less it's been good.
Today I want to talk a little about contouring, as I'm sure we all know what this is, but for those of you who aren't quite sure what I'm talking about I'll explain.
Contouring is the technique of using shading to enhance and define facial features.
Enhancing your cheekbones, & slimming your face with makeup products will allow you to trick the eye in a believable way. Here is what you'll need: a matte shading cream or powder, a highlighter, and a concealer. Make sure your shading powder or bronzer is at least 1 or 2 shades darker than your natural skin tone.
- Apply the bronzer to the hallow parts of your cheeks bones, (making a fish face will allow you to find the exact hollow areas).
- Then you will want to apply the highlight right above the top of your cheekbones, (don't forget to also apply the highlight to your browbones, center of your chin, and tip of your nose). Just becarful not to over do it.
- The concealer of course will go under your eyes, but the trick is to apply it in a triangular shape, this should actually be the first step before you begin your contour.
Below are the products I use when contouring.
(If you scroll down my blog you will find more information on these products which I have blogged about in the past)
Always with LOVE -Jennifer Amaya
